I was just thinking on some things that I heard over the weekend. One thing I found very interesting was in the story of Moses when he lead the Israelites from Egypt. I had always read the story of them being caught between the Red Sea and the Egyptian Army, and I would get really nervous for them...
I would picture myself in their shoes. If I was in their place and could see the army coming, I would kind of be freaking out. But what I found out last night, was that while the Israelite people were waiting for the sea bottom to dry with the wind, God placed a pillar of fire between them and the army. All they had to do was just rest and wait on God's timing.
How many times has the enemy just been relentlessly attacking everything you are doing, and you feel like you can't take it anymore? Then out of the blue, you have this fantastic day and realize God has blessed you. Your faith is restored, giving you the ability to move forward. That brief little rest allows you to catch your second wind. Those are the times when God has put the pillar of fire between you and your enemy. He is preparing a pathway for you. It's just not time to walk it yet. So the next time you feel like you can't go on, remember that God knows how much you can take, and he already has a pillar of fire headed your way. He will stand between you and your enemy, until He has your escape path completed.
Daddy God, thank you for blessing me and giving me the strength to continue walking the path you have set before me. You are amazing. So today, I declare that all that read this will be blessed. Allow your word to fill their spirit. Reveal yourself to them, that as they study your word, you give them new revelation they have never seen before. Comfort all those that feel lonely. I pray that your spirit would restore them, and that your healing touch would invade and give them strength. I thank you for the air I breath, and the steps I take. For they are ordered by you. You are everything to me. I pray all of this in your precious and holy name. Amen!!!
Be blessed!
